Public utility reconstruction

The traditional utility reconstruction technologies are gradually replaced by the technologies of pipe relining without uncovering the ground. This modern technology has several advantages:

  • The relining pipes within the reconstructed pipes comply with static requirements;
  • The applied materials and structures resist to a wide variety of pressure ranges, aggressive materials and the transportation capacity will not be reduced or will decrease only by a minimal rate;
  • The application of the pipe relining technologies allows a quick installation, continuous operation and thus guarantees an economic solution.

Therefore the Hungarian Water Business Cluster applies primarily the trenchless reconstruction of public pipelines in its public utility reconstruction activities.

The following technologies are applied:

  • Pipe relining with glass-fibre reinforced polyester (GRP) pipes
  • BONEX-SPIRAL Pipe winding procedure
  • Compact Pipe Close-fit technology
  • Compact SlimLiner for pressure pipes
  • NEOFIT for potable water lines
  • Primus Line reconstruction technology
  • Forever Pipe

Other activities of civil engineering:

  • Traditional public utility activities
  • groundwork of buildings, civil construction, earth-works, landscaping
